Her mother is English and Suda was born in England. Her father is Thai and works for the Thai government Suda will attend college next year in Thailand and hopes to become a doc- tor. Suda really likes Comstock! The American Field Ser- vice fosters understanding among people of nearly 60 nations across the world through a program of scholarships. High school students live for a year or summer with families in different cultures, attend school, and participate in ac- tivities of new communities. Either a student from a foreign country can come here or our students may live abroad. The students return home with lasting ties to peo- ple of other nations, an ap- preciation of their own national life, a deeper un- derstanding of world problems and the needs of others, a sensitivity toward those who are unlike oneself, and an understanding of our common humanity. All this molds them into roles of leadership. AFS Club Ski Club 1. AFS Club. Row 1 —Margaret Morrison —Secretary. Suda Sroesangkom. Connie Miller—Presi- dent. Mrs. Carol Cody—Advisor. It has been the source of our great advances in medicine, agriculture and chemicals. Against all machines and all materials, nothing is so priceless. Or so measureless. In the past 200 years, the world’s re- sources have been significantly depleted. Yet human energy has hardly been tapped. And it will be this human energy which will bring us into the future through efficient use of what we have. And have yet to discover.
