Semor Class Prophecy It is the year 2052 The Senxor Class of Tara Clty fformerly Comstock I-hgh School are studylng the records of past graduatlng classes of thelr school They are searchmg for the class that had proved to be the most successful ever to graduate from Comstock Hlgh School There are many class records to check because some of them date back more than a century One by one the classes are being ellmlnated The Tara Clty Semor Class conslst mg of over 3000 members has now voted unammously ln favor of one class Thls class must have been very outstandmg because there was no argument whatsoever after the accomplish ments of the selected class had been revealed They are now revealmg the name of the class of their cholce It was the Class of 1952 all the members of whlch have long been departed from thxs earth Let us borrow these records for a l ttle whlle and see what has caused this class to be so unanlmously selected At the top of the hst we see the name Charles Askegaard After graduatmg from C H he became .one of the greatest comedians of all times lt has been sam that he recelved his greatest tramlng ln hxs hrgh school physxcs and economics classes trylng to keep his class mates smllmg Next on the llst we see the name Thomas Gllbertson He became one of the world s most renowned cosmic engmeers and nuclear physlclsts He deslgned and built the flrst successful space ship It lS sald that he got the ldea from lookmg at hrs old 36 Ford Also we see the name james Olsgaard Hrs amazmg abnllty Ln debatmg has made hlm one of the greatest lawyers nn the Unlted States Hls debates carrled htm mto the Senate and later mto the presldency He was known never to give up mn an assngnment ln h1s life Surely anyone who has lwed ln the twenty fxrst century has heard of the great lover Gordon Brakke He was the dream of every person of the femlmne sex who happened to see hmm on televlslon or ln the movles He was known as the Valentmo of the twentxeth century The bxggest man xn the class was Dean Nelson who became the star center for the Mmneapolls Laker s He also galned world wide fame as a columnist for the lovelorn It ms saxd that hls great wlsdom ln love affaxrs was due to the many love letters he wrote and re celved whlle he attended hlgh school Only one man Ln the group became a farmer Richard Koester Bemg tlred of the cold Minnesota wmters he moved out to Callforma Here he started farmmg and made his fxrst mxlllon dollars He contmued to prosper as a farmer and an 011 baron untll has death Hts sons Ole and Pete now own half of the state of Callforma Roger Llvdahl one of the best known mxsslonarles ln the universe had traveled through every contment and nearly all the Islands on the earth He was the flrst mlsslonary to set up mlsslon statxons on Mars and Venus There were only two glrls ln the class The one who swore that she wouldn t get married untll she was thlrty was Glymce Eggum She was stlll slngle at forty fwe because she thought a husband would hinder her work as personal secretary for the President of the United States Later she became the flrst woman Presldent of the Umted States Darlene Ness the glrl who sald that she dldn t want to be nothmg turned out to be nothmg but the greatest woman author of all tlmes Her book Cheaper By The Dozen And A Half won acclaim as the most popular book of the twenty flr st century After readmg over the 11st of famous personages I can plalnly see why thas class was plcked as the most outstandmg class ever to graduate from Comstock Hugh School 13 C . l . . . . . 1 - I . , - . . . . .
