Mixed Chorus iiiiiiiiiiiitiiiiiii In mixed chorus this year the boys have music every Tuesday and Thursday. The girls have music Monday and Wednesday and on Friday we have mixed chorus. Mrs. Anderson is our music teacher again this year. This year the grades and the high school chorus presented a Christmas pageant, HWhen Christmas Comes.H We are looking forward to participating in the Red River Music Festival again this year. Student Council iiiiiiiiiiitiiiiiiik 4 This year we are continuing with our weekly patrol, to keep order during the noon hour. The Student Council gave a Christmas program this year for the high school. Songs were sung, and a few readings were read by the Student Council members. Members elected this year for the Student Council are as follows: Pearl Walker, Catherine Haugen, Charles Walker, Patty Asleson, Darlene Ness, and Roger Livdahl. Debu te iiiiiiitikiiiiiikiii This year for the first time six students of CHS took part in debate. We entered the debate tournament at Concordia College. Although we didn't win any debates we feel we have gained much by partaking in the contest. Those taking debate were: Orlen, Kitty, Floyd, Charles, Pearl, and Roger. 26

G. A. A. GIRLS' ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION xvxxsvxxxxmxmxxxxxxxmxmmmxx The Girls' Athletic Association, better known as the G.A.A. elected the following officers for this year: President, Darlene Ernstg Vice-President, Darlene Nessg Secretary, Shirley Jorgensong Treasurer, Gehelle Petersong and Advisor, Miss Strand We have only had one G.A.A. party so far but are looking forward to one or two more. We had our first party at Johnson's Roller Rink in October while the weather was still nice. Some of us were just beginners but soon learned how to skate with only a few spills. We are also looking forward to another Spring Field Day which will be held at Moorhead. Many of us attended last year and had a great time. Mixed Chorus Z5
