NO, Hel'e'S T0 The Pilot That Weathered The Storm.u Class Ilistory OI the seven students graduating from Comstock High School in the class of '50, only two started their education in the first grade at Comstock. Clayton and Floyd were the lone first graders back in 1538. Marlys Rehder and Lance Nelson joined the class in the third grade, but Clayton left to attend school at Ibsen, that same year, so the class enrol- lment increased with the addition of Duane Barth, Marjean Czichotzki, Theodore Dickelman, Donna Geswein and Louis Krueger. Duane Buth joined our class in the fifth grade, and Clayton came back the year we were sixth graders. During the next two years some of our former classmates moved away to attend school elsewhere. Duane Barth, Louis Krueger, Clayton, Floyd and Lance finished the eighth grade together at Comstock. The day we were to enter high school finally came. We were sorry to find that Duane and Lois were going to high school elsewhere. However our class of three was enlarged Dy the coming of Myron, Kenneth, Earl, Charles and Orlen from Rustad, and Edwin from Hickson. Mr. Dewall was our advisor this year and the frosh were known as the Ten Comet Bachelors. The fateful day finally came ---- a girl arrived who was to join our class-- it broke up our bachelor-dom, but we are all glad Kitty came to join our group From the mole's standpoint of view she adds Hspicen to our arguments. Were she not here we wouldn't have any arguments. As Seniors our status is six and one. Earl transferred to Fargo last fall. 10
