Senior Class Prophecy lkIkwkrlwkvkIlflllflfllfrkvlfllflifikiflklklirllrllfvlrvlrvlvlvlfif The year is 1969. Believe it or not, Comstock High is still standing. The sun has set and the whole school is lit up. From the gym, there comes noises of all sorts. What's going on? ? ? ? It is a reunion of the class of '49. Who's here? ? ? ? Everyone who had the privilege of graduating from Comstock High School with that one and only class of '49, Keep reading and you will find out what became of each during these twenty years. Grace Olsen is employed as a teacher of English at Colfax, North Dakota. She enjoys her work very muchg but she hopes to retire soon. QNot because of dee! Donald Koester is one of those big strapling dude ranch owners from the West. Through some trick of fate he also learned to become a bullfighter. It seems impossible, but with him anything is possible. Beverly Brakke believe it or not, works in Carneige Hall. Though she is a woman she has gained much respect in the music world for her faultless piano tuning. Thomas Walker is now head cartoonist for Walt Disney in Hollywood. Sylvia just happens to be his chief assistant. How this came about no one will ever know. Roger Corneliussen is a camera technician for the Eastrnan Kodak Company in Rochester, New York. He has just received a bonus for inventing the camera which takes pictures without a film. Barbara Berglund was promoted to head nurse in the psycopathic ward at Fergus Falls. She takes to her work like a duck takes to water. Larry Quiggle is one of the more sensible members of our class. He settled down on a farm near Comstock and is a dirt farmer. He raises dirt of the finest quality. Marylin Ness is a dress designer at Madame La Fluers's exclusive dress shop. She not only designs them, but she also models them. Lawrence Bernier or Swede is a test pilot at Boeing Aircraft. He and Carl Hoime work together. Carl builds them and Swede tears them apart. Melvin Taasaas left Comstock and took up barbering at the University of Minnesota. He has given hundreds of people a close shave in more ways than one. june Olson is Home Economics teacher at Preston, Minnesota. She says it's everything she thought it to be. Arthur Mathison is the chief clown of Ringling Brothers Circus. He has made such a smashing hit that his boss claims that there will never be another Art. Vern Quinnild has been working for fifteen years in the baseball field. He, like the rest of the class, has made a smashing success. Next time you see the Yankees play, ask for the assistant water boy. This will be the fate of our class. We hope that the other classes that follow will be as successful. lAnyone who takes this seriously is absolutely without a doubt without sane mind.J 12
