He is supervisor of boys' attendance and behavior, is in charge of our thirty- eight acres of campus, and is the administrator of the Compton high school athletic program. ln each capacity Mr. Brown serves Compton High to the ut- most of his ability, which is with excellence. Mr. Brown has contributed many hours of work and un- derstanding to fulfill his duties and our dreams. The spirit, goals, and ideals of the students can be seen in his friendly smile and mannerisms. As the close of the school year draws near, Mr. Brown ioins our hall of fame for outstanding work in his field to create and promote a school spirit which will endure throughout the years, Mrs. Gertrude Yeager linsetl has worked above and beyond the call of duty as secretary to Mr. Brown. -Q' fzs. cfllwzffla 30141515 Mrs. Martha Borders, during her second year as Assistant Principal at Compton High, has proven her capability with ease and merit. Known as one of the busiest women on campus, Mrs. Borders is in charge of the discipline and guidance of girls, co- sponsors the Girls' League and compiles the faculty and student bulletins. ln addition to serving on the Administrative Advisory Council, she supervises the programming of students, and the scheduling of classes. Along with this strenuous schedule, Mrs. Borders still finds time to instill and maintain school spirit by her sincere support of school activities. Mrs. Virginia Barnhart linsetl has truly been a great help as secretary to Mrs. Borders. I5

wz glzinaifza a fu. Zo 161 rlflfasfaoff Closing her seventh year as Compton high school's head administrator is our principal, Mrs. Doris West- cott. During these seven years Mrs. Westcott has proudly expressed her faith in the students. To make Compton high school increasingly stronger because ofthe individual contribution each one makes is the personal challenge extended from Mrs. Westcott to the students of Compton. She believes that a well functioning student government provides an oppor- tunity for each student to have a part in the work- ing of his schoolg thus each student has a chance to make his individual contribution. Mrs. Westcott's sin- cere devotion to the students of Compton High is shown by her never ceasing support and attendance at the social activities as well as the football and basketball games. Truly Mrs. Westcott is a proud and capable leader for the School ot Champions. Mrs. Frances Lalonde linsetl has graciously and enthusi- astically served as Mrs. Westcott's secretary at Compton for the past seven years.
