Fox president iotrict Mr. Franklin C. Hemphill, superintendent of the Compton Union High School District and secre- tary to the board, has served the Compton Sec- ondary District for the past twenty-eight years, He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club and Anchor Masonic Lodge. He is also a member of Phi Delta Kappa, a fraternity based on high scholastic standings. His dedication to his com- munity, and competence in his job have long been examples to aspiring students. Mr. Hemp- hill holds an AB. degree from Colorado State University and an MA. from the University of Southern California.
