Since then we have made plans, sold ads, had thousands of pictures taken, drawn dummies, ap- pointed the staffs, written copy, and mode and lost friends. It took time and help to put out the book. I would like to thank Billie Strehorn, Bev Baker, Tom Hughes, Jim Thomas, Marjorie Edmunds, Bonnie Ulrich, Dave Snow, Sue Phoriss, Pat Williams, and Jim Jackson for all they have done to make this year ' s annual the best. Mr. Peter Mel and his photography class saved our necks many times. Miss Katherine Bowers pitched in and made things easier an infinite number of times, and Mr. Bill Hubbell, of the Yearbook House, Monrovia, our publisher, was very helpful and understanding during the many hectic periods before all the copy was ready to be printed. To Mr. Chris Myron I would also like to say thanks for his excellent photography and many ideas which helped to moke the book a success. Bonnie Ulrich did more actual work and stayed more nights after school than anyone else and more than deserves the title of Associate Editor. Dave Snow s humorous art work gave the book a personality of its own throughout the pages. Without the help and advice of our Journalism sponsor, Mrs. Viola Bagwell, we could never have started the El Companile for lack of knowledge and knowhow. To her I would like to extend the staff ' s and my most sincere thanks and gratitude. It has been fun and hard work, but we would do it all over again. BOB GOFF, Editor-in-Chief 206 .
