These included the Blue Raider Relays, Hurst, and District 3A-5 lVleet. He also ran the third leg on the District Record l3:25.7l lVliIe Relay Team. .1970 did not change his pace. Records in the 440 were set by Whigham in the IVlcKinney Relays, Steel Town Relays, Dangerfield, Texas at 49.6, and District 3A-5 lVleet of 49.3. Whigham also ran on the District Record Setting 440 Relay Team l42.8l. He advanced to the Regional lVleet and ran a 48.6 for 440 Dash and placed fifth in the finals. 1971 should be HIS YEAR to break his records and advance to the State Finals in the 440 Dash. 'Nu Q .
