A . i II 1 1 FudaaAe4dqz4eSwfmw 05 Qmmaafftq 564006 '7emeuee O I For more than a quarter of a.century, Community High School has stood as a center of learning in our community. ' Hundreds, of students have gone out from this school to take their places in colleges, vocations and jobs. The records of achievement which they have left behind and the measures of success which have come to them, indicate that Community High School was, and is an institution of learning of which any com- munity might be proud to call its own. Yes, Community High School stands as a monument to education. Figuratively speaking, we may say that its protecting walls have been a shield against the ill winds of illiteracyg its doors have been opened to the way of learning: its windows have let in the light of knowledge and truthg its roof has withstood the storms of intolerance. With- in its walls, its warmth has served as a friendly hearth, radiating trust and friendship among students and teachers. And so - in appreciation to all who have helped to maintain Community High School - To the administration which sponsored our education - To every teacher who has taught in the class rooms - To the principals who have guided us - To all other school personnel - To the parents and patrons who have inspired us - To this community which has supported us - To every wholesome and uplifting influence which has helped to make Community High School what it has been and is - we, the editors of the Communiteer, dedicate this space, in this edition of our annual. z4vwl Sato . mwl...toz'4e QMWWSWJM: Zaz0,,e7,4nl960,., and 70446, Wdfww 2524 W 7a Zaezq Stuvieat 70447144 Wadked.. 04 Staddedae :de lclfmq I I I 003 tie KKWM4 Q 1 7a Zuma 5044605 7044 'Wm www meme mm Sdaadaaw z'4e?6e!d ofachlfie Win 244 70aZ6ed Zip cuwl7wz'at6e?acZdw9,.. The recent TV scandals have set us thinking that perhaps other houses are in need ofcleaning. Too many students are being graduated throughout the nation because "there's no place else for them to go." These "graduates" are ill pre- pared for the jobs they will seek with their fraudulent diplo- mas. It has been our chief aim during the year 1959-60 to make a diploma from Community High School a more perfect symbol of LEARNING and of the ability to COMMUNICATE what has been learned.
