A The year 1954-55 is especially to be remembered by Community High School, For the first time the schoolreceived an A rating from the State Board of Education, Improvements to the school plant have included the addition of four new class- rooms, improvements in the gymnasium, interior paint throughout the building, and new plumbing. The proceeds of our annual queen contest are being used for new library furniture and books. To the Bedford County Board of Education and the County Court we want to ex- press appreciation for the provision of funds for these irnprovementsg to the community, for your whole-hearted response whenever called. upon for help in any school under- taking.
