CLASS HISTORY xv. l se 'w . ..lx.. ' , Do you remember . . . Our Our Our Freshman year? how, led by Mike Torres, we wore out a numerous amount of English teachers fright, Ricky?J, ordered class rings, witnessed our boys suddenly develop periscopic eyes upon Miss Pressick's arrival, and refereed fights between our own down -home group The Travelers and the administration. We never graduated, though, through no fault of our own . . . Sophomore year? how newcomer Joe Col6n merengued down the basketball courtg the affectionate feeling we all had for our little Spanish teacher, Mr. Santiago. We won Field Day by an overwhelming number of points fYea, sophomoreslj and that same day we profited Sl from our Spook House, the scariest ever. Our pigtailed classmate quacked his way through the Stolen Prince g that year we also inherited the Coronation, which was a roaring successg supported the cafeteria fcomplete with burnt grease and bugsj. To finish the year off, we flubbed -up our singing debut at the senior's graduation . . . Junior year? how with Ricky Oldach as President, we once again ordered class rings, this time with black stones, which finally arrived at the end of summer, inducted eleven classmates into the National Honor Society, again sponsored the Coronation, where our own Patty Walker was chosen Queeng the student government was reorganized and promptly dis- integrated . . . hmmm . . . Three members of our class deserted us and flew up to the Senior perch. We wound up our junior year with a blast of a Junior-Senior day, Stu- dent Council elections in which two of our classmates became President and Vice- President, and the Prom, held at the Racquet Club . . . Wouldst thou believe . . . ' Our Senior year? how guided by Mrs. Schwartz and Class President Patty Walker we made plans for the Prom, graduation ffinallyj, and organized Junior-Senior Day grainy but funpg our short- lived television idols The Good Guys , iced tea sales, the lunch -stealing from Locker 41571, an illegal football game, and homemade egg salad in lab . . . Our classmate Randy became Commonwealth's Queen at a wham -bang of a Coronation. Seniors, ah yes, we finally made it---and this entitled us to certain privileges, smoking on the bleachers and outside lunches . . . If you believe this, would you believe graduation???
