This year of 1964 -65 has encased a big step forward. We are no longer one, but three schools with the addition of San Juan and Parkville Schools . This consolidation created an atmosphere of additional knowledge and educational backing. We were faced with the question of how to get the most out of what we had put in. The '65 Comet shows what we have achieved throughout this year . This year can also be called a fulfillment. Many of the 1965 Seniors are pioneers in the sense that they have been at Common- wealth School from the first through twelfth year, and thus, have shared in all that has been achieved throughout the years . The '65 Comet will be a tribute to our graduating pioneers. While we know that life at Commonwealth School is a multitude of realities which are too intangible to be told i.n black and white, perhaps in some small way we can preserve all which we hold so dearly . If this book will serve to bridge the past and bring to mind the priceless memories, joys, and pleasures of the year just gone by, it will have served its purpose well. 2
