H! N X W xiwlh l,,U lff.AqQI: il,g1,'l lu inf ft- .5 fist,- ,J ,l HXX ',lllkd..l,- ,ffff if I Mlm 5.: 44211 fi N 6 Foreword The 1964-65 edition of The Comet is presented to you, the students of Caribbean Consolidated Schools with but one objective: to capture a year between its covers. This year of 1964 -65 has encased a big step forward. We are no longer one, but three schools with the addition of San Juan and Parkville Schools . This consolidation created an atmosphere of additional knowledge and educational backing. We were faced with the question of how to get the most out of what we had put in. The '65 Comet shows what we have achieved throughout this year . This year can also be called a fulfillment. Many of the 1965 Seniors are pioneers in the sense that they have been at Common- wealth School from the first through twelfth year, and thus, have shared in all that has been achieved throughout the years . The '65 Comet will be a tribute to our graduating pioneers. While we know that life at Commonwealth School is a multitude of realities which are too intangible to be told i.n black and white, perhaps in some small way we can preserve all which we hold so dearly . If this book will serve to bridge the past and bring to mind the priceless memories, joys, and pleasures of the year just gone by, it will have served its purpose well. 2

O- Dedkahon Mrs. McCurdy has completely dominated the student body with her charm, kindness, jolly disposition, and devotion. Having set an example of personified integrity, all our years of study are worth nothing if We fail to follow her guiding light i.n our long Walk through life's highway . Thank you Mrs. McCurdy, and may the future show how deeply we feel our appreciation by making us men and women you can be proud of. 4
