Girls' Citizen hip Club p The purpose of the Girls' Citizenship Club is to be of service to our school and community. The club is limited to 9th grade girls. The club has attempted to have one social project every month. Some of our annual affairs are a snow trip, giving candy on Halloween to the Children's Horne, and a trip to Santa Cruz. Boys' i Citizen hip Club . ' The Library Club is comprised of 1 r u twenty-five Sth and 9th grade students who are concerned with serving the school through the library facilities. Most of these students are regular li- brary assistants Who are taking the course for credit. Meetings are called only when needed. One aim this year is to visit other secondary school libraries in the dis- trict as a group. horus Club Part of Advanced Glee's busy schedule in- cluded three concerts at school, including a pop concert in May, and participation in school assemblies. All Glees performed at the Competitive Festival at Franklin in April. The group was honored by an invi- tation to appear at the Convention of Cali- fornia Music Educators Association at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. They were the only choral group, junior high, senior high, or college, to be invited. Choraliers also were busy performing at rest homes, service clubs, Salvation Army, and at the Solo Festival. They were also asked to perform for the Retired Teachers' Annual Banquet and journeyed for their second appearance at the Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco. A-H Club The AH Club is composed of deaf students who attend Stockton Jr. High School. The purpose of the organization is to give deaf students an oppor- tunity to experience the social atmosphere created by belonging to a club.
