Y A 0658 oo N 9 ll D S the final curtain rings down on high school days and the eyes of relatives and friends focus upon the members of the Class of 1933, stepping out hope- fully to meet their great adventure-the search for success and happiness4the time seems opportune, in this brief message of godspeed, for a word of those qualities, the presence or lack of which will play an important part in the lives of Commercial's latest graduates. Those who would succeed in any given field must have a purpose, a beacon toward which they can point their lives and efforts. If there be any members of the class who have not settled upon a definite objective they should analyze them- selves to determine what they would most desire to do and what they are most qualified to accomplish. Having reached such a decision, concentration upon this purpose will be the strongest factor in bringing it within their grasp, whether it be in the realm of art, science, statesmanship or commerce. VVith youth, ambition, self-confidence and courage, nothing is too difficult for the young man or young woman emerging to-day from High School, nothing quite beyond his or her reach. VV hether fortune or disappointment attends these efforts, the man who can smile when things look bleak, who is sincere with his friends and associates, who takes more than a passing interest in community affairs, is a man who has served the world well and it will be a finer place because he has lived.
