EE You are living in a strenuous age, where selfishness and pleasure-seeking and EE QE frivolity and irresponsibility are weakening the strongest bulwark of our nation, EE EE the American home, and America turns to you. EE SE Girls and boys of today, you are the mothers and fathers of tomorrow, the EE g future makers and preservers of the nationg and what greater honor could be QE yours? EE EE llut your task is stupendous. You must girdle yourselves strong in the armor QE EE of service, of justice, of prudence, and self-reliance, and stand an impregnable wall QE about that center of civilization, the home, and they who strive to lower its ideals EE or desecrate its sacredness, shall have to answer your challenge. QE Service and sacrifice. Truly, you comprehend their full significance, for EE QE your young lives have been lived while men have served and sacrihced and died, for the preservation of their homes. But your task is even more difficult: you QE must serve and sacrifice and live, live clean, unselhsh, God-fearing lives, live as EE the great men and women of the past lived, so that society and the home will be EE better for your having lived. EE E Having learned the lesson of service and sacrifice, you will have discerned in QE your fellowman, EE QE That thread of the all-sustaining Beauty which runs through all and doth all EE QE unite -and Charity that binds 'the Brotherhood of Man will again reign queen EE EE of virtues.
