C '10 .ii We, the June '53 Class of Commercial High, dedicate this annual to an old soldier. No, he has no emblems to denote rank, no medals for bravery, no wounds oi battle, but his rank is the highest in the hearts of those who love him, and by his deeds he has earned medals that time will never erase -- medals of love, respect, honor and friendship. His wounds are many, for no problem is ever too great or too small to burden his heart when one of his children is in trouble . He has fought as no soldier has ever fought before, always fighting to give his children the very best. He has burned his name not only in the hearts and memories of his students but into the very name of Commercial High School. So We dedicate this annual to an old soldier who will live forever in the memory of all who know him, ARTHUR J. FUNK, principal of Commercial High School.
