Comflz 'lihrough the efforts of Coaeh R. B. Godwin, the green Commercial Typists matured into one of the most successful teams in Commercials history. Coach Godwin steered the Basket-hall team to the N. G. l, C. semi-finals, placing two, Lawrence Jernigan and Terry lfvans, on the All-N. G. l. C. The well-played games include victories over: Newnan, 3-1-1-l, 28-2-1-Q Rohert lf. Lee, -ll-17, 30-193 Griffin, 3+-17, Druid Hills, 30-10, 37-255 Xlarist, 30-21. The lost games were to: Griffin, 28-305 Amerieus, 20-233 Decatur, 25-353 Canton, 21-285 Gainesville, 25-37. The regular positions were held by Lawrenee Clmftyj -lerniglan, Aloe Chastain, Klelvin Clledj Loyd, Terry lfyans, lfdward Cffootsj Stein. with Harry Berehenko, Leon Goldstein, Arthur VVhelehell, and James Daniel serving as substitutes.
