SENIORS' FAREWELI- lt is with heavy hearts that we, the graduating class of 1934, leave Commercial High School to enter into the business world. The three years we spent within its surroundings seemed a lifetime until we were graduated to leave, and perhaps, never to return. Getting used to the location, the surroundings and various disadvantages, were difficult, but after we became acquainted with the faculty and students, we at once admitted that there was only one school that could offer such advantages in preparing us to enter into the world of business, and that school was Commercial. Besides the business training, the moral training and cooperation of the teachers in all details of our personal everyday life, have taught us that a teacher must know something besides books to instill knowledge into the students over which they have supervision. A If none of us enter the business world, we will have gained by our years in Com- mercial, because of the friendships cultivated, which we hope to retain throughout life. Perhaps many, many, years from now, Commercial will be just another high school, but in the hearts of those graduating in '34, it will always be the best school on earth, and we will always honor it with the highest respect! CECILE TERRY President of Senior Class Page 28 1934 P Si'-'IPSQ I 'KI I TO THE SENIOR CLASS OF COMMERCIAL HIGH SCHOOL You go away from Commercial High School with the feeling that you are leaving the school hehincl you and that in a short time the years spent here will he but memories. Let me assure you that it will not he that Way at all, for in time you will becomeglike the boys and girls who have gone hefore you-a part of the ever-widening circle of friends and graduates of our school. Strange as it may seem. the longer you have been away from school, the more you will cherish and appreciate the institution where you have spent happy years in the most wonderful part of your lives. Congratulations to each of youl Step hy step you have passed through Commercial High, now you are Commercial High. IC. L. FLOYD, Principal.
