MISS CATHERINE MEEHAN, who teaches duplicating, attended Cen- tral Connecticut State Col- lege (B.S.), Columbia University (¢M.A.), and Boston University. Her hobby is reading. Student hostess June Pistel greets the business executives visiting Commerce as consultants. Mr. Victor Biscotti, Mr. Carson Cluley, Miss Irene DiSanti, Mr. Brendon Cox, Mr. Leon Erb, Mr Donald Hartley, and Mr Salvatore Mazzaferro gave Com- merce seniors valuable advice concern- ing qualifications and opportunities in MISS ALBERTA Mc- CLEARY attended Mount Holyoke College (B.S.) and the University of Pennsylvania (M.S.). She is supervisor of the Cadu- ceus Photo Staff. She is a teacher of biology, and her hobbies are gardening and photography. A teacher of stenography, MRS. CATHERINE MORIARTY is a grad- uate of Northeastern Uni- versity (B.B.A., B.C.S.) and Boston University (M.Ed.). MISS JOAN McDON- ALD — graduated from A.L.C. with a B.S. degree, and from New York Uni- versity with a M.S. degree. She is a teacher of book- keeping and typing. English is the subject taught by MRS. MARY MURPHY, a graduate of College of Our Lady of the Elms (A.B.) and A.I.C. (M.A.). She is adviser to the Junior Class and Future Nurses Club. 15 MR. WILLIAM Mc- WHA is graduate of State Teachers College, Salem (B.S.) and Boston Univ. (M.Ed.). He is a teacher of data processing and bookkeeping. Mr. Mc- Wha has participated in United Fund activities. MR. WALTER D. NIC- KERSON, teacher of music, is a graduate of the New England Con- servatory of Music (B. Mus.) and Springfield College (M.Ed.). ‘Mr. Nick” enjoys fishing and swimming. His pet peeve is “Boys? wearing bangs.” MR. GEORGE W. MEA- CHAM, teacher of busi- ness practice and physical education, graduated from A.I.C. (B.S.). Head coach of wrestling and assistant coach of football, he is a graduate of Commerce and was the first captain of patrol. MR. LEO RIOUX is a world history teacher. Mr. Rioux attended Assump- tion College and Westfield State College (B.S., M. Ed.). He is a member of the faculty social commit- tee here at Commerce, and hi s hobby is reading road maps.

He is a business adviser to Com- metce and a member of the Mathematics Curricu- lum Committee. MR. JOHN MCKAY at- tended Michigan State University and A.I.C., ob- taining a B.S. and M.A. He is a teacher of eco- nomics, government, and American History. Mr. McKay plays golf in his spare time. His one pet peeve is absenteeism. Mr. Cook waits his turn as Mr. Cies- luk goes for a spare. Our faculty men are perennial contenders in the School- A teacher of English, MR. FRANK LANDRY, te- ceived his B.S. from Ply- mouth Teachers College and his M.Ed. from Bos- ton University. MRS. FRANCIS MaA- HAN attended A I.C. (B.S., M.A.) and the Uni- versity of Connecticut. She is Senior Class adviser and teacher of stenography and penmanship. masters Bowling League. MR. BERNARD M. LA- VELLE, teacher of Eng- lish, received his A.B. at Saint Anselm’s College and his M.Ed. at Westfield State. He is adviser to the class of 1966 and enjoys “babysitting’ as a hobby. MRS. MARY ANN MALESTA attended Bos- ton University, where she received her B.S. in Home Economics Education. She teaches Foods I and II. 14 MR. RAYMOND LEM- IEUX is the head of the History Department. Hav- ing attended Bridgeport State Teachers College and the University of Virginia, he teaches American His- tory, geography, and civics. He enjoys bowling and golf. MRS. MARGARET MANNIX, who is an English teacher, graduated from Westfield State Teachers College (BS. Ed.). One of the co-chair- men of the Faculty Social Committee, her hobbies are golf and music. MRS. CATHERINE LEONE, who has been teaching a girls’ auxiliary class, obtained her B.A. degree at New Rochelle College, attended the Uni- versity of Massachusetts, and did graduate work at Columbia University. MR. JOSEPH MAZUR- OWSKI, who is an advi- ser to the Caduceus Busi- ness Staff, is a graduate of ‘A.C. He attended A.I.C. (B.A., M.A.) and is pre- sently working toward his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study at Spring- field College. GOs MR. HAROLD OD.
