Secretarial Stenography, Transcription, Typing, Machine Calculation and Duplica- ting are the subjects that compose the secretarial course at the High School of Commerce. These provide a varied training for all who plan to enter the business world. Stenography II is a double period: one period of dictation and the following period of transcription. First taking notes in her notebook (above) and then transcribing them (right) onto the typewriter from her notes in a true secretarial man- ner is Margaret Brown.
