RITA ASTORINO enjoyed - skating and dancing while in high school. She was graduated from the College of Our Lady of the Elms (B.A.) and Spring- field College (M.Ed.). English Department Chairman MR. FREDERICK G. ALLEN is a graduate of Boston Univer- sity (B.A.) and Yale University (M.A.). His pet peeves being too numerous to mention, his wife has dubbed him the “Last Angry Man.” MR. GERARD W. AYOTTE, who back in high school was active in student government, is a graduate of American Interna- tional College (B.S.) and Springfield College (M.Ed.). He teaches bookkeeping and typing. The co-adviser to the Student Council, MR. FRANCIS P. AL- LEVA is a graduate of North- western Universiy (B.S.) Har- vard University CM. Ed.) and Mr. Alleva presently teaches clerical bookkeeping and Book- keeping I. Adviser to the class of 1966, MR. JOHN W. BENNETT is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (B.A.) and Yale University (M.A.). He is a teacher of geometry, Algebra Il, and elementary mathemati- cal analysis. His favorite pas- times during his high school days were swimming and camping. A teacher of civics and Ameri- can History, MR. ALPHONSE J. ALMINAS is a graduate of Suf- folk University (CL.L.B.) and Boston University (B.S., M.Ed.). A married man and father of two boys, Mr. Alminas is ad- viser to the Caduceus Busi- ness Staff. A graduate of American Inter- national College (B.A.) and Springfield College (M.Ed.), MISS ELINOR BURLOW is a French teacher and adviser to the class of 1965. In her high school days, Miss Burlow en- joyed hiking and American His- tory. MRS. CLAIRE O. CARROLL, a graduate of Salem State Col- lege (B.S.Ed.) and Boston Uni- versity (M.C.S.), teaches ste- nography and typing and is in charge of school locker keys. A teacher of general auxiliary, MISS PATRICIA CABANA is a graduate of the College of our Lady of the Elms. MISS VIRGINIA M. CLANCY at- tended Framingham Teachers College (B.S.), Boston Univer- sity, and Cornell University. Our home economics teacher tells us that she played trum- pet during high school. One who admires a student who takes advantage of all opportunities presented him, MISS MADELINE J. CANARIE is a graduate of Regis College (B.S.) and Boston University. A business practice and type- writing teacher today, Miss Canarie participated in high school musicals. A product himself of the High School of Commerce, MR. ER- NEST L. CONCHIERI, a gradv- ate of American International College (B.S.) and New York University (M.A.), is a teacher of Bookkeeping II and G.O. Accounting. Mr. Conchieri is faculty manager of athletics. MISS HELENE E. CARROLL, a teacher of home economics, is a graduate of Framingham State Teachers College (B.S.Ed.) and Springfield College (M.Ed.). In addition, Miss Carroll has done graduate work at the Universi- ty of Chicago and Syracuse. Miss Carroll is in charge of locker keys. A graduate of Tufts University (A.B.) and Boston University (M.A.), MISS ELIZABETH CON- NELL, a teacher of English, is also editorial adviser of ‘’Com- merce.’ When Miss Connell was a high school student, she en- joyed basketball and the school orchestra. 11
