The shrill ring of the bell brings to mind several things, one of which is a summons to class. In these forty-two minute periods we have endeavored to absorb all that is possible of a subject. There are some exceptions to the rule, however, as when interruptions such as assemblies and fire drillshave shortened the time period. Aft these times we are often surprised to find a look of genuine relief upon the faces of our teachers as well as upon our own. Regardless of whether periods are long or short, however, we have learned to ap- preciate every valuable minute that is spent in class.
