I bought two tags and they're both covered with signatures. Guess I said hello to about everybody in school. It was fun. October 20- Just back from the Audit dance at East Commerce. It was a long trip but a swell dance. East Commerce fellows are O.K. by mel November 9- Wish I were a journalist. Carl and Alex were all smiles as they started off for the N.S.P.A. convention at Chicago. What a trip! November 12- Joined a new club today-the Personality, Club. Wonder what it will do to my personality. December 8- This afternoon the seniors gave their play, Girl Shy. More than ten cents worth of laughs all right. Good acting, too. January 5- Missed the Alumni Game and Dance because of a sprained ankle. Rotten luck! Dot and Bill say it was the best ever-good game, good music, good everything. I'll be there next year, don't worry. . january 25- . . I Commerce's nPl'CSlClClIt'S Ball was this afternoon. Marge Earnshaw was chosen queen. I hadn't realized what a lot of pretty girls there are at Commerce this year. January 26- Thi? semester is nearly over. When I think of exams I'm scared. Maybe I'd better study. Ho- um. February 22- Saw the movie, Know Your Money, today and learned a little about how to detect a counterfeit bill, Wouldn't it be fun to detect some. VVish we had more movies like that. March 12- The big day finally arrived-the day of the Commerce-East Commerce game and dance that we've all been looking forward to. Our Auditors won, but the East team had us on our toes during the last few minutes. The dance-well, everyone had a swell time. The presidents of the various clubs received flowers. We had our own hit parade and everyone trucked to its delightful tunes, March 17- Election day for the seniors. Carl Williams was elected. March 20- A big crowd assembled in 361 this afternoon to hear the speech contests. I was more nervous than the contestants. Bill Miller and Edna Gracey must be pretty proud of their medals. April ll- Had my senior picture taken today. What a thrill! Hope I looked my best. It was fun going over to Cass. Some of the stairways were blocked because of wall-cleaning which made the trip a little longer, but we didn't mind. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if some of the girls met a boy friend over there. April 12- Group pictures for the Reveille were taken today. I'm in three. They'd better be good. April 25- Senior mock election today. I think the class as a whole did a pretty good job of attaching the right titles to the right persons. Only one thing wrong-there just weren't enough boys to attach the titles to. May 6- The Shorthand Scribes visited the Bell Telephone Company this afternoon. We went through all the different departments and were shown how the system works. Wonder if I'd like to be a telephone girl, May 18- Thirty-six of us went through Greenfield Village today. Such a lot of walking, but such a lot of fun. The bus driver seemed to be having as much fun as any of us. I guess Jean, Dolores, and Bernadine will agree he can find lost articles. May 20- F ive weeks left. So much to look forward to-the all-club picnic, the boat trip, the prom- then graduation. I'm so happy, but sad, too. I hate to think of leaving. Wonder if anybody will hire me.
