THE HIGH SCHUUL UF COMMERCE The High School ot Commerce, situated in the triangle formed by C-rand River, Vernor Highway, and Second Boulevard, occupies a strategic position in the business life of Detroit. Since l909 when the Vernor Highway Sec- tion was completed and the commercial classes were first held there-on to l92Z when the entire building became a commercial institution-until the present time when the Wayne University School of Secretarial Science is also housed within its walls-there has been a steady, ever-increasing stream of students pouring into its class-rooms for commercial training.
