We, the first graduating class of Commack High School South, have taken on the task of setting the precedent for the future classes of Commack High South. ln dealing with these tasks, We have had to overcome many obstacles. These obstacles could not have been faced alone, but had to be faced as a class. The class could not have overcome these obstacles Without the help of the faculty and administration. Among these stands out Mr. A. P. Van Dercreek. As advisor to Commack South's yearbook, Vindauga, he has helped us in putting together our first yearbook. ln the role of advisor, he has allowed the staff to put forth their own ideas and expressions without limiting their creativity. His mannerisms and personality have made working on Vindauga a Worthwhile and enjoyable experience. For these reasons, we the Senior Class of l970, dedicate Commack Southls first yearbook, Vindauga, to Mr. A. P. Van Dercreek.
