The traditions of CHS have been developed since the day of its first opening .... Each Septe mber brings a new cycle of students who make, share, amend, the honor these customs. The shy, lonely Freshman, who hastens up our timeworn steps to his first registration, all too soon becomes the tall, poised Senior who walks triumphantly across the stage to accept his diploma. But the intervening chapter in his life has been made r i c he r and fuller by the CHS traditions he has come to know and lovei Though the spirit of CHS is much too intangible for words and pic- tures, in the pages of this 1956 Arrowhead we endeavor to record this year's school life as it typifies the traditional activities so dear to the hearts of all those who have been or ever will be a part of Comanche High.
