Joe's scholastic rating will make him a welcome member of the student body at Austin College in Sher- man. Joe received the band award as the most valuable band member this year. GWENDOLYN SMITH Gwendolyn's high scholastic rating and her activity on the Warrior Staff and in F.H.A. work make her a valuable member of her class. She plans to attend Draughon's Business School in Abilene next year. Gwendolyn was a 1950 delegate to the State F.H.A. meeting, and was also runner- up for D, A. R, Girl in 1950. PATRICIA POLVADO Patricia, better known as Pat, well deserved the honor of runner-up for Smile Girl. Her sparkling smile added to her high scholastic rating to make her a leading member of her class. MARY HART Mary ranks high in her class in per- sonality and grade points. Her friendly manner of cooperation is an outstanding trait. She plans to attend Durham's Business College in Abi- lene after graduation. JOE PAUL TUPIN Looking over the C. H. S. stu- dent body one couldn't find a more dependable boy than Joe Paul. The success of all high school publications has been due in a great measure to his urntiring and efficient service. With his wonderful personality we predict that he will be as outstanding on the University of Texas campus as he is on our own, Joe Paul was the faculty selection for Outstanding Boy in our high school this year. JOYCE SMITH To make other people smile is Joyce's desire, and that she does. Joyce's pleasing personality has made her tops with the student body. She is also an honor student. Joyce was a close runner-up for Outstanding Girl, a faculty selection. RUBY WAGNER Ruby's quiet unassuming personality has not covered up her dependability and efficiency on the Warrior Staff. Her high scholastic rating is further proof of her ability. Ruby plans to at- tendabusiness school after her graduation from high school. SHERLEY TAYLOR Sherley's outstanding workin F. F. A. has Won honor for him- self as well as our school. His ambition is to be a farmer and we predict that he will be a real success. ELAINE EDMONDSON Elaine, atrulyoutstanding stu- dent, has won for herself an enviable place in the minds and hearts of students and teachers. She was elected D,A,R, girl for 1951. She has rendered valuable service to the student body through her work on the annualstaff and as yell leader.
