S- ,J V -f fx .15 Senior Class Historv Here's to the Seniors, this class oi' '29, the Best Senior Vlass that has ever graduated from Comanche High School. Abide a while with us please, and we will tell you some ol' our history, begrinningr with the day when we entered Comanche High as an enthusiastic bunch ol' lfreshmen. We'ye been here tour long years now, and during' each ol' these years we'ye done something' which helped to make Vomanche High School a more distinguished place. You see, we have always been very unusual. When we were l reshmen, we won, by :1 large majority, the A1'row-Head contest. And we were a live, penny bunch of Frcslnnen always, and we certainly did furnish our quota of .nen lor football as well as students to take part in literary ex ents. Then, as Sophomores, we furnished a team to eo with the Seni0r's team. and together we beat the Juniors and Fish, in a class football game. The two yell leaders were Sophs that year. and the declaimer and extemporaneous speaker too. And oh! what shining! lights we were in football, and what a brilliant success we made when the Sonhs took in the most subscriptions to the Squaw, thus winning that contest too. WVhen we were Juniors, the school certainly knew that they had never yet seen Juniors who compared with us. Such pep! Such school spirit! Vile certainly did more than our part in both literary and athletic events. Also-please remember that prac- tically all 011 the 'tWhose Who page were Juniors. Another unusual thing' that we put oyer in our Junior year was the big Junior-Senior picnic, when we entertained the Seniors who said they wanted something' dii'l'erent.
