lin jllllemnrlam JOHN JEFFERSON CUNNINGHAM Thursdiv Febiuarv 20 1908 a brief b autlful life was ended on earth and a happy eternity begun in he iven Just it noon the Elder Shepherd came seeking his own and bore to the peaceful fold above the bright spirit of John Iefferson youngest son of Mr and Mr W B Cunningham John his father s pride his mother s Joy the light the life of the home The above prepared by the hand of an intimate friend of the family at the time of John s death expresses most pcrfectlv the sentiment of every one who knew him At his death John was a little moie than fifteen vears of age having been born December 14th 1892 Few bovs have passed the end of their fifteenth v ear with as much that is desuable and as little that is to be found Just where he was expected to be and doing iust what he was expected to be doing He was al ways prompt at school and prepared with his work His influence too among his fellow students was ever on the side of good order and obedience to authoritv On Sundav morning he was alwav s to be found in his place in Sundav School being among the first to arrive At other times he w as around the home doing the chores and performing to the fullest extent all the duties of a loving son and brother Indeed we should have to look far to find a more perfect example of a bright well disposed well behaved ind altogether lov able character than was his The high esteem in which he was held bv school mates teachers and friends was ev idcnced bv the deep interest that everyone took in his illness and bv the manv beautiful floral offerings given and by the immense concourse of people present at the time of his hurl il Mav we have in Comanche manv more characters as beautiful as his H 7 ...T K- 21, - Ny ' . , ' V 84 ' ' A v 1 ' ' ,Z v s 1 Z 5 L. 7' 'l- v V . v ' . , . .
