fx .2 History Jumor Class, 08 By JAMES GRAHAM We hereby set down IH wrltmg and make publxc to all our acts of the past year We hope the world w1ll be char ltable toward us for our mls domgs and our enthuslasm No doubt we would have behav ed wlth far greater rectltude had we known our acts were to be thus made 1Jl1bl1C Sometlmes we have been brought to a full knowledge of our short com mgs and at other tlmes we have acted as though conselous of some self nghteousness But be that as It may the world w1ll soon satlsfy xtsclf m thls respect As to our number It IS large enough But our roll la a httle shorter than when we hrst answered the call last September One of our brlghtest purest and truest John Cunnmgham was called from our ranks to mswer the call IH heaven In the class there are now enrolled elght gms and thlr teen boys Hltherto ln the Senlor class there has been a much HOtlCQd lack of young men graduates Tne prospect now IS that the tables wxll be turned at the end of next year unless many fall to make the requlred grades The Jun1or class of thls year spent the first half of the term xn thelr old old workshop, peggmg aw ay ID the same old place About mxd sesslon or perhaps a few weeks after our long deferred but ever present hope of mov1ng lnto the new Hlgh School Hulldmg was fulfllled As we lssued bllthe somelv from the portals of the Bat Cave our poet exert ed his lngenults wlth the followmg result A dth bat l t lt th d H Re li e f th th d eamms!
