Although the varsity team didnlt do as well as predicted by Coach Bovenmeyer, they im- proved considerably over last year with a record of 3-5-1. The change in team strategy partially contributed to the improvement. Coach Bovenmeyer felt that the team played fine hockey and was able to compete with other high schools. Although the junior varsity didn't quite meet the expected demands with a 1-6-1 season record, the experiences gained will contribute to the varsity team next year, when vacancies in the team will be filled with JV players.
