iety of Items ffered at uction Left: Chris Dickson appears happy with the bargain he made. With high bid of 34.25, he won Lens' offer: a candid of your choice. Items ranging from a gingerbread house tc Mr. Clouser's old army pants were offered at Student Council's second annual charity auc- tion held in the cafeteria. Because all of the items were not sold in one afternoon, the auction ran during lunch periods the following day. While munching on the cakes and cookies being sold, those present had the opportunity of ex- periencing a realistic, fast-moving auction run by a professional auctioneer. Also assisting in the auctioning was Campus Life director Dave Veerman. The number of items donated by the students increased this yearg however, the proceeds, which were donated to the Salvation Army, did not match last year's. Along with the auction, a jelly bean counting contest was held to raise ad- money. Right: Mr. Clouser's old army pants, modeled by Dr. Dieter, was 1 of the items donated by faculty and administration.
