Business candidates perfect basic skills Preparino students in the right way for careers in business is sonietliing the business education de- partment feels is necessary. To meet this necessity, coinprehensive courses are offered to the students of our high school. Such courses as shorthand, typ- ing, and bookkeeping prepare them for a future bus- iness as well as other vocations. Included in the business education department is the distributive education program, a course pro- viding seniors with studies in all phases of retail sales work. As a part of this progi ' am students may work part time and attend school. Beginning and advanced courses in typing, short- hand and introduction to business, provide the foun- dation for a business education. Further training in the arious aspects of business by courses center- ed around business machines, law, inathematics. and bookkeeping.
