MR. GAIL L. SIMS SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS MR. JAMES J. HERFKENS MR. WILLIAM N. FLOYD ASSISTANT SUPERIN- PRINCIPAL TENDENT OF SCHOOLS Supervision Main Concern Of Board Supervision of the additions to the Senior High School, the Junior High School, and the two elementary buildings are the main concerns of the School Board this year. The board is responsible for supervising the finances of the school district, employing the faculty members and other personnel, supervising matters relating to the curriculum, and determining graduating requirements and other general policies of the school. Members of the Board of Education are Mr. Paul Abegglen, president, who has served 6 years; Mr. Roy Deden, vice-president, 13 years; Dr. H. D. Kuper, 13 years; Mr. J. W. Schultz, 21 years; Mr. Kenneth Torczon, 2 years. Mr. Lester C. Ernst, who formerly served on the board for 7 years, has returned to the board and is now serving his second year. Mr. Gail L. Sims became Superintendent of Schools, replacing Mr. J. P. Young who retired July 1, 1965. Mr. James J. Herfkens is now the Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Mrs. Ina Person is secretary of the Board, and Mr. J. P. Young continues his association with the board as treasurer. BOARD OF EDUCATION —HACK ROW: Lester C. Ernst, Kuper, Paul W.
