FOREIGN STUDENTS New Facesflf CHS This year we have welcomed five foreign students. They came from far away countries to learn about America and to bring us knowledge about their ways of lite. Daniel Vollrner, senior, is from Cologne, Germany. He enjoys music, swimming, and table tennis. Daniel likes CI-IS and finds everyone to be very friendly. Fouzia Sayedzadah, senior, is from Kubal, Afghani- stan. She enjoys gymnastics and volleyball, Fouzia would like to go to an American college. Jorge Bartos, junior,iis from LaPaz, Bolivia. He likes to watch Miami Vice, MTV, and thinks American food is g1'eat . Jorge is on the Math Team and in Spanish Club. T Monica Duran is also from LaPaz. She enjoys shop- ping, being with friends, and having fun. Monica is in Civitan, French Club, and Spanish Club. Jorge Martinez, sophomore, is from Madrid, Spain. I-le has been at CHS for two years. Jorge likes to read and play many different sports. He is a member of the Spanish Club. Jorge works at the terminal.
