Interact provides an opportunity for high school boys of all ages to work together in voluntary service that benefits both themselves and their community. The Rotary Club of Columbus sponsors the organization and offers guidance whenever necessary In addition to their annual project ofhosting Georgia Day, Inter- act also collected money for the Salvation Army by ringing bells at Columbus Square during the Christmas season. Raising funds for the March of Dimes was another worthwhile undertaking of the club. To Hnance this. members designed and sold calendars containing pictures of twelve Junior and Senior girls they selected from the student body. Broaden Backgrounds Q , f' The Library Club, under the direction of Mr. Judah, spent time improving their skills and general knowledge of the library. Before the year was out, the organization had also performed a number of worthwhile projects. One service they provided throughout the year was working as aides in the library and helping the students and faculty of Colum- bus High in any way possible. Their skill and Willingness to work helped keep the library running smoothly as a valuable tool for all who used it.
