The Twirp Week of February 6-16 was highlighted by the traditional Powder Puff football game. Beautiful girls composed the football teams while muscular boys took up the task of cheerleading. The Powders, under the leadership of Coach Doyle Allen, walloped the Puffs, but the effort that both teams displayed made the game both exciting and interest- ing to watch. The Pep Rally was also a smash, as the cheerleaders and maiorettes put on a sen- sational display of charm and graceful moves. The Powder Puff court also drew much praise and acclaim from the student body members present at the pep rally. Bubba Patrick captured the coveted title of Queen, while Tom Flournoy was named King. The Powder Puff game of 1975 will long be remembered by this year's graduating class. The annual tradition had been car- ried on, and now all eyes turned towards the 1975 Powder Puff game. Wherever they go, the class of '75 will always remember the week of February 6-16, when they took part in a long and glorious tradition. ABOVE: The thrilling twirlers.
