Farley Bill Farley, President Bobby l'laI'ClaWay, Vice President Gladys Sue .lOhr'1SOr1, Secretary Jane Dillard, Treasurer STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is an organization composed of representatives from each home-room and club. Its purpose is to unify student activities, promote the welfare of the student body, cooperate in enterprises for the good of the school and render service to the community. At the first of the year, the Council gave an assembly program presenting the ideals of the organization, and later Student Assemblies were held whenever the need for them arose. Certain weeks were set aside for placing special emphasis on honesty, clean sportsmanship, clean scholarship, courtesy, and good citizenship. Other projects participated in were these: donating S200 to erect steps at the north end of the building, roping off the cheering section at football games, and sponsoring a Sadie Hawkins Dance and Stunt Night.
