We, ot the COHISCAN, plan to show through these two typical high school students: Sammy Senior, the average high school boy, and Henrietta Highschool, the typical girl, the past year l944- l945 in Columbus High. Sammy is seventeen years old, makes Cs in his work, supports CHS. athletics by cheering tor the team at all home games, He loves steaks, tried chicken, blue, Sammy Kaye, Lana Turner, yellow socks and bow ties, and Henrietta. Henrietta is sixteen, and being brighter than Sammy, makes A's and B's. She has dates with all the boys, but though she doesn't admit, she would rather be with Sammy than any one else. She loves red, tried chicken, Harry James, Van Johnson, Mr. f'Stogie and going out of town to football games, R , L

0 O l Henrietta and Sammy, being average people aren't members of Student Council, but they listen avidly to the reports of their representatives. Like their fellow students at CHS. they buy bonds and stamps regularly through the Student Council. lt was on account of boys and girls like Sammy and Henrietta, that during the school year i944-l945, Sl l0,000.00 worth of bonds and stamps were sold here. Henrietta and Sammy greatly appreciate the great work which has been accomplished under the leadership ot Miss Massey and Miss Arnold.
