DANIICI, whose untiring efforts and vision for the public school system of Columbus for twenty-eight years is greatly re- sponsible for our present high school. I r , l 1 One of the large, commodious rooms of the Boys' Public School Building will be used for High School purposes. It has been furnished with the celebrated Andrew's Desks: also with Maps, Globes, Philosophical Apparatus, etc. The curriculum is a combination of the classical and the practical courses, common in our best Colleges. Pupils completing the High School course will be pre- pared to go either into business, or to enter without inconvenience, on account of irregular classiflcation, schools of higher grades. Our school building is now undergoing such changes as will entirely separate the boys and girls. except during study and recitation hours. when they will be under the immediate supervision of their teacher. A nice yard, made absolutely private, has been arranged for the young ladies attending the school. where they will be in the care of one of the lady teachers during each recess.
