To the Seniors: Elbert Hubbard has stated that The value of an education lies in the struggle to get it. As students of this high school, some of you have had to put forth a great effort to obtain your education. Some have worked hard towards achieve ment in the curricular offerings, while others have exerted very little energy. Some of you have put many hours into extra-curricular activities, and others have not participated in any. l am sure that each of you who has exerted great effort to achieve your education will find that you will sense a true feeling of accomplishment. In school you have been provided with an opportunity to build a foundation for your future life, through being exposed to many areas of study. The amount that you have absorbed will determine to a large extent your success in life. Your education is far from complete but the foundations are firmly established. It is my hope that you have improved upon your character while in this school. It is also my wish that the building of character will be foremost in the planning of your life's work.
