Soldier fl WWell, I don't know if he ever got marrled or not It was 1n all the papers how Hollywood rejected h1m, but Elizabeth Taylor soon helped that by publlcly announclng her engagement to hlm Then, later on, when they broke up, they managed to keep lt pretty well out of the papers and that's the last I' heard N Sold1en92 WThat sounds l1ke John J1m Luklns remember h1m9 He was qulte a b1t l1ke'h1m, don'tY0U th1nk9 I've got the scoop on h1m He went to Iowa Universlty, graduated and then marr1ed his beautlful art teacher Recently he bought a blgger home to make room for all hls palntlngs and the chlldren But, they only have flve ch1ldren H Soldler il HSay, I was V1S1t1Hg frlends and relatlves over by Conesv1lle a few years ago, and when I drove over town, who should I see but Gerald hurry H told me that he and Bev got marr1ed the fall after graduat1on and now they are run nlng the elevator at Con The1r l1fe has been f1ne except for one tragedy Soldler 52 'Golly, what was that?n Soldier Ml NThe old Model A broke down and they had to buy a new Cadlllac But I guess they needed lt anyway The Model A was hardly large enough for thelr seven chlldren Oh, and are thelr tr1pl1ts CHortense, Herklmer, and Henrlettaj ever cute They all have the curl1est red halr Guess they get that after Gerald U Soldler 52 WSay, I guess Tom and Mildred Hotle are really kept busy try1ng to put Gladwln back on the map Mlldred runs the store there and Tom runs the farm I 1mag1ne thelr four chlldren are qulte a b1t of help though And Tom should know all about the farm after graduatlng from Ames Mlldred also runs a beauty shop part tlme ln Gladwln You know she took tralnlng at the Par1s Beauty Academy ln Cedar Raplds How many of the other klds 1n our class went to college Soldler fl nLet's see, Max Lukenhach and HlCh19 Orr went to Iowa U Now Rlchle 13 Professor of Physlcs there and Max is head football coach I guess hlchle' class is f1lled w1th beautlful co eds whlch h1s teachlng has attracted And the boys went on a strlke because too many g1TlS were bry1ng to make the football team The g1rls all sa1d they llked football, but the coach was the maln lnterest Sold1er 62 NGuenn Dunsmore 15 now teachlng typlng at Columbus Hlgh Mrs Spaethe gave up try1ng to get the school to buy new typewrlters and so Guenn took over Soldler fl nOh, say, Kenny Hill had qulte a tlme Last I heard he was ln the C J hospltal where Nola and Nona Boulton are head nurses Kenny owns and operates a cattle ranch near Conesvllle Seems l1ke one of the Texas Longhorns he was ralslng mistook him for a bale of hay and now he lS the Columbus Junctlon hospltal recover1ng But I hear he's 1n no hurry to leave the hospltal and all those pretty nurses Soldler 92 Kenny always was one for the pretty g1rls wasn't he9W Soldier il NSpeak1ng of pretty glrls, what happened to Carol Owens9U Soldier 62 WOh, Carol marr1ed that tall, dark, handsome man that she used to go with back 1n Hlgh School The last t1me I heard about them they were l1v1ng on a farm near Washington Soldier fl NI always thought she would marry h1m And Darlene D1ller marrled Dean Morgan shortly after h1s graduation I guess they are runnlng Morgan's Walgreen Drug now, along w1th thelr f1ve chlldren I guess the k1ds keep her pretty busy because Darlene gets a lot of prescrlptlons m1xed up. . . -v o . . . - O ' ve 0 I I l A I ' ' - . , O 1 I ' . , o 0 I . 0 . . . - Q . .
