Class Prophecy As I sat in front of the fireplace smoking my pipe with my two Great Danes beside me, I began to wonder if the rest of my classmates had faired as well as I. I guess 100 acres of Florida shore 'line would be called doing well. I decided that I would start calling them. First of all, I called Charlene Matzenbach who was living with her Five Star General husband, Kenneth, a career man in the infan- try. could only talk to her a few minutes, because in Fort Knox the time of the calls are limited. She told me that Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kreger had been to visit them last week, and I could get in touch with them at the luxurious Hotel Fontainbleau at Miami. I then called Miami and talked to Bill. He said that he and Barb were sailing to Europe to see June Forrest. Bill was anxious to get back to Michigan and the Michigan Lumber Company of which he was now sole owner. I then tried to contact June Forrest in France. While I was waiting for my connection I picked up the paper and much to my surprise read where Glenn Chapman had tried to land on the North Pole with his E-106 Hydrogen plane and came down in Africa. He was going so fast and had such a tail wind that the first thing he knew he was in Africa. Just then the phone rang and a sweet voice with a very French accent greeted me. It was June Forrest DuPont. We talked only a short time as she had to take the King and Queen of England for a ride in her ocean liner yacht. My next call was to Africa and Glenn Chapman. He said that he had seen Clinton Crum setting up the first prefabricated city for the North Pole. Glenn said I could con- tact Clint at Clintville, North Pole. He also told me that Jerry Miner was a mechanic for the Russian Government. A call to Moscow, Russia, was next on my list, but before I could put it through, I was surprised by a phone call from Clinton Crum. I talked to Clint for quite awhile about old times, his wife, and his two sets of twins: and then he asked me if I remembered Ellen Covey. It seems she was going to do all the house work for the city he was setting up. I asked Clint to bring Ellen to the phone. I found out that she was married and had five children--all boys. She also told me that Ron Myers had spent so much time working on Wayne Co11ier's car in his Senior year that he had gone into the repair business and now owned 1,000 car repair and muffler shops all over the U.S. My following conversation was with .Terry Miner in Moscow. He said it was O. K. to talk but we had to be careful what we talked about or he might be liquidated. I told him Wayne Collier had taken to automobile racing and was favored at the big 500 mile track at Indianapolis in the 2,500 mile race next Sunday. Then we were suddenly disconnected. The next voice that greeted me said, Ron Myers, owner of Myers' Muffless Muf- flers. Ron informed me that he had made a Million dollars on his invention and expected much more. I told him my invention of a Fordillac car had been prosperous for me, too. I then said good-by to Ron. I began thinking how well all my classmates had done. Then, as though he were very far away, I could hear Mayne calling me. He was trying to get me awake sol could go on the Senior Trip with the rest of the class.

To Melvin Buhl, To Glenn Chapman, To Wayne Collier, To Ellen Covey, To Clinton Crum, To June Forrest, To Charlene Harris, To'Bill Kreger, To Jerry Miner, To Ron Myers, To Mrs. Collins, To Mrs. Fader, To Mr. Rosenbaum, To Mrs. Brockriede, To Mrs. Backus, To Mr. Abel, To Mrs. Barbour, To Mr. Naber, we give this car so his dad won't have to worry about letting him take his. we give this rubber bone to chew on so the Hardware won't go broke buying pencils all the time. we give this gas pump so he won't get lonely for the store if he should happen to go away to college or work. we give this tall, dark and handsome man to keep her com- pany, as she doesn't seem to find the right one . we give this card of curlers so he can keep his hair curled and Marie won't have to bother. we give this package of gum so she won't have to bum it off of someone else when she gets out of school. we give this rolling pin, so she can keep Bud under control when he gets out of step. we give this girl to keep him company at week end movies while Barbara is at college. we give this new car to replace the one which is smashed from hitting the barn late at night. we give this pair of red basketball shorts as we know he al- ways has wanted to dye his red. we give this roll of bills to start her and her husband on their new home. we give this racer so she will be able to get home without waiting for her husband to come and get her. we give this Yo Yo so he can start saving his half dollars instead of doing tricks with them. we give this book, How to Understand Seniors . we give this airplane so she will be able to fly home and back whenever she gets homesick. we give this SCOOTER to save his walking back and forth to school. we give this check book in remembrance of all the checks we wrote. we give this box of pills tn help you grow so you can be seen.
