We were just about to leave when up drove Dick Farnsworth and who was that with hirn? Why, none other but Betty Taylor whom Elrner and Dick had always been fighting about. Betty tol d me she still hadn't made up her rnind between the two as Dick now owned the Drug Store and Elmer the Food Lockers. She didn't know which had the best business, As we came back to town, I glanced at the mansion and who, I asked Wilma was liv- ing there? Believe it or not, the two quietest people in our class--Raymond Seelye and Charlotte Herrington had married and bought the mansion. Ray is superintendent of the school and Mary Palek is principal. It seems after all these years, Mary and Tom are finally engaged. The wedding is set for July fourth, 1973. LeRoy it seems, is living in Flint with his wife, Leona and their two children. He is now foreman at the Fisher E Body. Ellen and Ed Hunt live next door to LeRoy and they own an all day nursery. Maybe some of us had not reached the highest in learning or made a million dol- lars, but we are the same happy crowd and content with living. G1ftatory I, Ellen Hunt, have been chosen fthrough some quirk of fatej to present to these remark- able Seniors of 51 these small tokens in remembrance of the long hard years of work we have spent together To Mr Dorsch we award this gold badge for making this class the great success it is To Mary Palek we give this pencil to keep her busy at night while she is away to col lege To Charlotte Allen we give these Air Mail stamps so that she won t miss writing to .Tack To Jun Palek we give this yardstick to see how long he sleeps To Gladys Sickner we give a tire so that when Don has a flat she can give this hun to help hun out To Anna Schaller we give a date book to keep her appointrnents in To Elmer Kitchen we give this beautiful blonde to keep hun company while on the way to Maine o Dick Farnsworth we give this book so he ll learn how to become ambitious o Ray Seelye we give this redhead so he ll get used to having girls around before goes to college Phyllis Sweet we give this airplane in case she doesn t fulfill her wish of becom in an airline hostess Wilrna Hunt we give this set of dishes so she and Harry can begin keeping house Harry Phillips we give this diamond ring to help hun out in the future years o Ray Kowalski we give this new car to go and see Irene Now you won t have to walk Ray To LeRoy Caudell we give this rope so he can hang on to Leona while she finishes school To Don Thatcher I give this tractor so he ll be able to get his farming done To Ellen Hunt, I give this rolling pm to use when her husband gets out of hand sump PAP:-:R mam: More S971 101' ACfl7J1f1eS IM GONNA WASH THAT MAN
