IFIESTV IVQIIWII IES The 1955 Homecoming Queen and her attendants, chosen by popular vote ot the student body, appeared between halves and occupied places ot honor at 'he Columbian-Galiori game Friday night, October 21, Ron- nie Hill, president ol the Student Council, crowned ihe queen, and the THS marching band, assisted by ihe Columbianettes, pertormed tor her pleasure. A dance, held Saturday, October 22, in the school gymnasium, climaxed the week ends activities. Approxi- mately ZSO Columbian high school students and alumni attended the dance sponsored by the Pep Squad. Dave Gebhart and his orchestra played tor dancing. Arrangements tor the entire homecoming week end were directed by the Pep Squad, with Carolyn McNeal Serving as coronation chairman, Priscilla Crawford as decorations chairman, Barbara Fausey, publicity chair- man, Beverly Wolf, tickets, Amy Io Russell, alumni, Iudy Dennison, program, and Shirley Parkins, clean-up.
