N fancy Io Kirschner Colorsf Yellow and Green Mottcf The higher we climb, the better the view 'X Cgiass gfrsfory Many years ago we began our golden chain of friendship. From the hills of Kentucky and far- off Latvia new links were clamped on to join us in becoming the Class of 1955. This charm brace- let is now complete. As we look back to the hectic but happy past, we see Nancy Swearingen, Bruce Remsberg, and Margrace Prugh starring in Hansel and Gretel during the fifth grade. Entering lunior High, we finally learned our way around, and by our freshman year we felt we were well on our way. We elected Bing Fowler, presidentg Wayne Kuhn, vice president, Ioanne Bord- ner, secretaryg Bruce Remsberg, treasurer. That year we proved our talents in our class play Our Miss Brooks and the operetta H.M,S. Pinafore . Our first prom was titled South Pacific . We arrived at last at Columbian where we chose Bing Fowler, Io Yager, Sharon Herbert and Tom Keen as our class officers and chose Candy Land as the theme for our prom. ln our junior year we elected Bing Fowler, Tom Keen, Betsy Vogt, and Io Yager to direct us. As our class motto we chose The higher we climb, the better the view . Yellow and green are our class colors. The big event was the Iunior-Senior Prom, where we spent an Evening in Paris . Finally we reached the last link in our chain, our senior year. Through the etforts of every mem- ber of the Class of l955 we are certain that each of us will continue to add many new friends to our golden chain of friendship. Fourteen
