When Mack tackled an OppOr1e1'tt, they knew it. RALPH TALBOT Igor was a shitty reserve lineman who was outstanding because of his aggressive defensive play. Next year will be his big year and he should be the fifth man in the op- ponent's backlield, RICHARD SHELLHAMMER Shelly placed on the All-Buckeye first team as right guard. He is a good blocker and tackler and could always be depended upon in tight spots. He threw many opponents for a loss and was one of Colum- bian's toughest Iinemen. ROBERT BEAVER Bob was co-captain of the team and placed All-Buckeye honorable men- tion. He showed what he had by playing aggressive football. WILLIAM FELTON Bill was co-captain and leader ot the 1943 football team. He was an expert pass snarer, blocker, and an aggressive end. Bill placed on the All-Buckeye second team. He led the team to victory with strategic signal calling. HERALD HOERIG Red, although only a sophomore, was Columbiarfs highest scorer. He received the All-Buckeye second- team fullback berth this year. With two full seasons ahead of him, he should come into his own and go a long way in assisting next year's team. RICHARD BOWERSOX Dick received honor as All-Buckeye second-team tackle. He developed into an aggressive lineman and broke up many enemy plays. He could always be counted on to play his hardest. KENNETH FOX Foxey was a reserve backlield man who could be counted on to play hard and give all he had.
