To the Class of 1964: The past few months have been eventful ones for us. They have been an experience we will long remember, each of us with some special memory. We have acquired or added to our knowledge and skills, we have an increased awareness of the importance of public health - in short, we have the ability to function more capably and eniciently as professionals in the field. To our faculty who have taught and demanded so much, we are indebted. From contacts with each other, we have learned more about the many professions in public healthg we have found new friends. We came here from varied backgrounds, from many places. We leave with a broadened outlook to go to many parts of the world. Wherever our work may take us, there is a need for improved health care, an opportunity to apply sound health principles. We have a responsibility to our own profession, to the broader profession of public health and to our- selves to meet this challenge. May we be equal to the task! Good luck, good health and Godspeed.
